Introduction to the Community Grants Program

The Redbelly Community Grant Program is open to all members of our community who have a blockchain project idea that they want to build on Redbelly Network. We welcome applications from individuals, corporate, government agencies, start-ups, non-profit organisations, and other entities that have a vision for how Redbelly Network can be used to create positive change in the world.

The grant amounts that will be awarded to a project will vary, depending on the scope and nature of the project. Redbelly are looking for projects that are innovative and have the potential to create significant impact in their respective fields with a strong preference for projects that interact with Compliant Asset Tokenisation in regulated markets.

Application Process

 

 

Applying for a grant is simple. All the applicant needs to do is fill out our online application form, which includes some basic information about you and your project.  Please note: submitting an application does not guarantee approval for any Grant.  All submissions will be evaluated against standard criteria and benchmarks. Shortlisted applicants will be invited to present to the Grant Committee, and only successful applicants will receive approval and allocations of our native Redbelly Coin (RBNT).

At Redbelly, we believe that our Layer 1 blockchain technology has the potential to change the world, and we want to support those who share our vision. We are committed to developing a vibrant and inclusive blockchain community, and we believe that our Community Grant Program is one way we can make a difference.

Who is eligible to apply for the Community Grant Program?
The Community Grant Program is open to all members of our community who have a blockchain project idea that they would like to build on Redbelly Network. We welcome applications from individuals, corporate, government agencies, startups, non-profit organisations, and other entities that have a vision for how they can leverage Redbelly Network to create positive change in the world.
What kind of projects are you looking for?
Redbelly are looking for projects that are innovative and have the potential to create significant impact in their respective fields. Applications that are proposing a new or existing platform that will support real world assets in regulated markets will be evaluated and weighted according to our philosophy, vision and goals.
How do I apply for the Community Grant Program?

Applying for a grant is simple. Simply fill out our grant application form with information about your project, include any supporting materials you may have and we will be in touch once the application is reviewed.

When is the deadline for applications?
This is an open application process and has no deadlines. However, available grants are limited. Applying for a grant does not guarantee approval or allocation. All applicants will be notified upon receipt of the application and throughout the evaluation process.
Can I submit multiple applications for different projects?
Yes, you can submit multiple applications for different projects. However, we encourage you to focus on only your best project idea.
Can I apply for a grant for a project that has already been launched in the market?
Yes, you can apply for a grant for a project that you have already launched in the market, assuming you're looking to build a multi-chain strategy. Additional incentives may be provided for early adopters looking to launch on the Redbelly Mainnet.
How will I know if my application is successful?
All applications will be confirmed upon receipt via email and updates will be sent as we progress through the evaluation process. Please note: Shortlisted applications will be invited to present to our Grant Committee prior to any application being approved.
How will Redbelly select successful grant applications and projects?
Redbelly will evaluate each project and application individually. The selection criteria will vary depending on whether the project is new, in progress or existing. Our team will be looking for projects that support our underlying philosophy. We are looking for teams that are able to execute on their strategy and support regulation and accountability, helping to enable our vision of on-chain tokenisation.
How will any Grant be paid?

The grant amounts awarded to the project will  depend upon the scope and the nature of the project and how the project aligns with the mission of Redbelly. 

All Grants will be paid in Redbelly coins [RBNT] in milestone payments based on agreed achievements and timeframes.

Funds granted by governance to projects proposed by the community that will benefit the broader Redbelly Network ecosystem
Node Operator Program

Incentives and rewards will be allocated to entities that Host Consensus and / or SEVM Nodes
Oracles Program

Incentives and rewards will be allocated to entities that provide Oracle services to the Redbelly Network
Identity Providers (IDP) Program

Incentives and rewards will be allocated to entities that provide IDP services to the Redbelly Network and sign up as a Redbelly IDP Marketplace Ecosystem Partner
Research and Social Good Program

Funds allocated for promoting social good within the broader Redbelly Network ecosystem and globally using its technology.
Network Adoption Program

Incentives and rewards for deploying use cases. Entities fostering significant network effects can access additional rewards.
